Congress MP candidate Angomcha Bimol Akoijam inspected polling booths as repolling began today in Inner Manipur Lok Sabha constituency after violence marred the initial voting. Long queues formed outside the booths, with 11 stations designated for repolling due to instances of violence, gunfire, and clashes during the previous polling. Manipur, facing conflict and allegations of election rigging, recorded a 72% voter turnout.
