"IMD Predicts Continued Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms in Northeast India for Next Four to Five Days"

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating that Northeast India will experience a continued spell of heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, for the next four to five days. This weather pattern includes lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, particularly in Nagaland and the neighboring states.

In addition to the forecast for Northeast India, the IMD has also provided an update on East India's weather conditions. The region is expected to continue experiencing heat wave to severe heat wave conditions until May 1, with an expected gradual abatement after that date.

This weather forecast suggests a period of challenging weather conditions in both Northeast and East India, and residents in the affected areas should take appropriate precautions to stay safe.
