"Government Implements Weight Limits to Ease School Bag Burden: A Promising Step Towards Student Well-being"

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." - William Butler Yeats

The government has introduced a solution to address the issue of heavy school bags for students. Henceforth, students will not be required to carry excessively heavy bags to school, as the government has determined specific weight limits for different classes.

• For students in classes 1 and 2, the maximum weight for their bags is set at 1.5 kilograms. This weight limit increases progressively with higher classes:

• Students in classes 3 to 5 are allowed a maximum bag weight of 3 kilograms,

• While those in classes 6 and 7 can carry bags weighing up to 4 kilograms.

•For classes 8 and 9, the limit is set at 4.5 kilograms, and finally,

• For class 10 students, the maximum permissible bag weight is 5 kilograms.

This is expected to be implemented across all schools in the near future, ensuring a more manageable load for students and promoting their physical well-being.

That sounds like a positive step to alleviate the burden on students' shoulders. It's important to prioritize their health and well-being, especially considering the long hours they spend carrying heavy bags.
